The Preston Symphony Orchestra describes the concert as an opportunity to savour the music of Paris across a hundred years of the Paris Conservatoire, from the elegance of Farrenc to the colour and virtuosity of Ibert’s much-loved Flute Concerto and the grandeur of Franck’s Symphony in D minor.
