Border Music Camp 2026 will be held from Sunday 5 July to Saturday 11 July at The Scots School, Albury NSW, marking the camp’s 50th year.
Border Music Camp 2026 brings together around 200 musicians for a week of ensemble playing, tutorials and concerts in a residential setting. Participants are placed into orchestras, wind ensembles and smaller groups according to level, with specialist tutors providing sectional rehearsals and technical guidance throughout the week.
Program and structure
Morning sessions focus on ensemble rehearsals and tutorials. Afternoons include elective ensembles and recreational time, with a mix of chamber music, workshops and informal activities. All participants take part in a massed choir.
The week concludes with public concerts on Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July at 7:30pm.
Who should apply
Border Music Camp 2026 is open to musicians of all levels, from those with at least six months’ experience through to advanced players. While many participants are school-aged, adult musicians are also welcome.
The camp provides a structured and supportive environment, particularly for those seeking more ensemble experience or access to specialist tuition.
