An Intimate Afternoon of Flute and Harp at JAHM

On Sunday, 29 September 2024, the Justin Art House Museum (JAHM) in Prahran hosted an exquisite house concert featuring flautist Sally Walker and harpist Emily Granger. The duo captivated the audience with a program that seamlessly blended classical masterpieces and contemporary compositions.

The repertoire included works by JS Bach and WA Mozart—who notably composed a concerto for flute and harp—as well as evocative pieces by Erik Satie, Elena Kats-Chernin, and Lachlan Skipworth. The performance was dedicated to those who have loved and lost, or ever dreamed of being a composer themselves .

Following the concert, guests were invited to the JAHM apartment for refreshments, providing an opportunity to mingle and discuss the performance in the intimate setting of the museum.
