SUMMARY:52nd Annual Leslie Barklamb Scholarship - Preliminary Rounds
DESCRIPTION:The 52nd Annual Leslie Barklamb Scholarship Competition invites young flautists to participate in one of Australia’s most prestigious and best-loved flute competitions. Established to honor Leslie Barklamb’s legacy\, this event continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of talented musicians. \nOpen to flautists across multiple age groups\, the competition features sections for 11 years and under\, 13 years and under\, 15 years and under\, 18 years and under\, VCE\, and the Leslie Barklamb Scholarship (25 years and under). Performers will be judged by a panel of experienced adjudicators\, with each participant receiving valuable feedback to support their musical growth. \nWinners of the 11\, 13\, 15 years and under\, and VCE sections\, as determined on the day\, will be invited to perform in the Scholarship Finals Concert the following week. During this special event\, the winner of the 18 years and under and 25 years and under sections will also be decided. \nDon’t miss this chance to be part of a celebrated tradition in Australian flute performance.
