The Annual Leslie Barklamb Scholarship – Preliminary Rounds

The Victorian Flute Guild is holding the 49th annual Leslie Barklamb Scholarship in 2022, with preliminary rounds to be conducted on Sunday 28 August at Methodist Ladies’ College, Kew. The finals concert will take place on Friday 2 September at Armadale Uniting Church.
Sections included:
- 11 Years & Under
- 13 Years & Under
- 15 Years & Under (Margaret Brooke Award)
- VCE/IB Section
- Intermediate Section – 18 Years & Under (Nariida Coleman Award)
- Senior Section – 25 Years & Under (Leslie Barklamb Scholarship)
Each section features set works and own choice pieces, with time limits ranging from 3 to 15 minutes. Finalists from the Intermediate and Senior sections, and winners from the younger divisions, perform at the finals concert.
All performers are required to be members of the Victorian Flute Guild. Prizes are awarded as cheques or vouchers.
